Review: Hard Candy SHEER ENVY Primer

 HARD CANDDY's SHEER ENVY PRIMER
Hard Candy's Sheer Envy Primer is a silicon based primer thats light weight, oil free, and creates an effortless flawless look on the skin. I usually don't use a primer because the ones I have tried in the past have made my face oily and has felt caked on. This one is the opposite. Upon squeezing it out of the tube, I thought it was going to be ultra greasy, but after applying and letting it dry, it felt as if nothing was on my face. It also made my face extremely smooth!

This product does not test on animals, YAY! and it is a steal for $7 ONLY at Walmart.
CONS: you have to make sure you ALWAYS shake the tube before usage. I've heard that it can separate over time and doesn't have the same affect. I've been using mine for over two weeks and it seems fine to me.
Comes out white, blends clear. It is blended here,  but you can't see.

What I LOVE:
It creates a smooth canvas for my foundation. It makes my foundation last all day with minimal oil thoughout the day as well as smooths over my large pores!I'm obsessing over this product. It beats paying $30+ for a primer at Sephora. I prefer this stuff. It also comes int two other primers that I have yet to try out. Enjoy!

Review:Sally Hansen Salon Effects Polish Strips

I decided to pick up one package of these Sally Hansen Salon Real Nail Polish Strips. They come in an array of colors as you can see! I first saw these at WALMART. They retailed for $8.50. I didn't want to buy more than one in case I hated it! I have to say, I love them. I've been painting my nails ragged and they need time to heal! So I thought this was a good alternative. The only thing is that it can be time consuming to apply.

The package contains
-16 different sized nail strips so you won't have any trouble finding one that fits you perfectly. I was worried about this because I have a strange shaped thumb on my right hand that I am so self conscious about but I had NO problem with these.
- 1 cuticle stick to push back cuticles, and trim away spare edges.

-1 small file to file away the spare strips.

I don't know why they randomly decided to give us 16 instead of 20...
As soon as I peeled off the strips, I noticed a smell similar to nail polish! It was very easy to apply. It just took some time and a steady hand.

TIPS:
Soak nails and push back cuticles before starting!
The technique I found that worked the best for me was the first measure which strip fit the nail best, peel off, and using my finger, smoothed the nail outward. The loose material I wrapped around the edge of the nail and using the file, I filed away the spare.

For the sides that were too large, using the flat side of the cuticle stick, I cut away the edges. Do not drag, doing so will make the nail strip drag as well.

You can find these anywhere. CVS, Walmart, Target... etc. It's Sally Hansen! I know other brands make them as well, but these colors were a lot prettier. I'm looking for the checkered one next! Have FUN!

REVIEW:QUEENE HELENE MINT JULEP

Queene Helene
MASQUE's and SCRUBS!

I've been using the Queen Helene Mint Julep Masque for about a year now, and I absoultely love it. I've tried using other masks from different brands but always find myself coming back to Queen Helene! This masque has been around forever and there area variety of a few different masks that is offered. This one is my favorite because it cleans pores, clears breakouts and blackheads. It also feels tingly and has a refreshing minty scent. Not rough on skins at all. The only think I don't like is the packaging. The twist cap makes it kind of messy to use. It also requires a lot of work to remove once it dries. I have to use a towel because using my hands just isn't good enough.

Retail: around $6 at Sally's beauty supply, Walgreens, CVS

The Masque claims to dry up acne pimples, rinse away blackheads, and shrink enlarged pores. The masque firms and hardens after about ten minutes to remove these impurities from your skin.

Reduces oily skin

I've also been using the Mint Julep Natural Face Scrub because I've been so in love with the Masque. I use this scrub about two to three times a week because my skin is a little more sensitive. The face scrub makes my face amazing soft and clear after I use it. It's refreshing and gives my face this glow when I'm done.

HAUL TIME!

NYX HAUL!
I placed an order with CHERRY CULTURE a week or so ago.

They were having 20% off their entire site until March 20th or something. I just decided to load up on some NYX things! NYX is so hard for me to find because the closest place that carries this brand is ULTA. I hate driving all the way from my house to ULTA jsut for NYX. So when they had this sale, I took advantage of it! They came today!

NYX'S ROUND LIPGLOSS

MAUVE

PINKY NATURAL

NYX's lipglosses are extremely glossy and moisturizing.
They glide on the lips like magic and the color is so beautiful. They were only $2!

NYX ROUND LIPSTICKS
The first products I ever tried from NYX were their rouded lipsticks. I instantly fell in love. The reason why I love their lipsticks? They're SO CREAMY! I'm not a big fan of dry lipsticks because my lips get really dry and yucky throughout the day. MAC frost lipsticks do this to me. (No matter how much water I drink!) With these lipsticks, they moisturize so well. The color selection is also humongous! They're a winner for me, and I only paid $2.50 each! Steal!

THALIA. PARIS.PEACH.B53
Thalia is a darkened pink/purple.
Paris is a bright pinky mauve.
Peach is a frosty pink.
B53 is a pink nude.

FRAPPUCCINO. FIG.POWER.CETO
Frapp is a dark nude pink.
Fig is a coral pink.
Power is a blue pink.
Ceto is a frost nude pink.

POWDER BLUSH
MAUVE &a TERRA COTTA
Mauve is a dusty rose colored powder. I like these because they are finely milled and don't settle int pores. I really like the gold, almost coral like color of terra cotta. This is great a bronzer, highlighter, blush, everything!

 JUMBO EYE PENCILS
These are widely popular as an amazing and inexpensive product. They can be used as basis or highlights or by themselves as eye shadows. I have never used them before but I'm so glad I finally took the jump! They are so creamy and they glide on so smoothly!
On sale at CherryCulture for $3!

MILK. YOGURT. COTTAGE CHEESE

I didn't do all the lipstick swatches because that would have taken me forever. I'll do them one by one with looks or something. I LOVE cherry culture! I'm so excited to try these new products! HAPPY SHOPPING!

REVIEW: N.Y.C. Waterproof Eyeliner Pencil

N.Y.C'S
WATERPROOF EYELINER PENCIL
Hello Beauties! I am always on the search for something new to try and it's so exciting to find a product that's always been there but I've never noticed it, and it's also great when it's inexpensive! New York Color is probably one of the more underestimated drugstore brands. To be honest, the only products I use from N.Y.C are their super cheap nailpolishes (which work amazing!) and their eyebrow gel and pencil. I haven't tried anything else, I was browsing their stuff and was looking for a new eyeliner. And these ones happened to be waterproof for $3.99 each. PLUS POINTS!
The only downside is that they were sold out! Except for one that was already opened and jacked up looking. I was on the hunt! So I went to a bunch of different other drugstores such as Rite-Aid and CVS to scounger up the rest. I'm still on the hunt for the other colors! I just wanted to share with you guys the FOUR colors that I was able to pick up.

Smokey Plum, Sky Blue, Dark Brown, and Black
Now what are the differences between the pictures above and below?
ABOVE is a swatch of the eyeliners just on.
BELOW is what the swatch looks like after I ran water over my hand AND dabbed with a tissue. This stuff literally would not come off unless I used soap and water and scrubbed. It's pretty awesome!
People say these are the cheap comparison to the Urban Decay 24/7 eyeliners. They possibly are the cheaper version! Of course not as many colors are offered but they still do an excellent job of staying on.
I'm wearing SMOKEY PURPLE on my lower lash line. I have extra watery eyes and this pencil seems to be working pretty well. :)

REVIEW: BURT'S BEES TINTED LIP BALM

BURT'S BEES TINTED LIP BALM
Love your lips with a kiss of color!
Hello beauties! I hope everyone had a great St. Patrick's Day! I decided to stay in, take a relaxing bubble bath, and read a book. I sound like a grandma, I know! But since I'm doing this 30 day weight loss challenge, I can't eat after 7, much more so drink! It's killing me, I'm only on day 6! Wish me luck!

So I've always been a really big fan of Burt's Bees. I'm extremely picky when it comes to chapsticks and lipbalms and what I use to moisturize my lips. I'm sorry but regular Chapstick doesn't cut it for me. So when I saw these, I had to try them. I picked them up at Walgreens for $7.50. I know, kind of pricy, but I figure I pay the same amount for a lip balm at Sephora, or a lipstick. They had six colors to choose from. Ranging from nude to red. I picked one nude and two pinks since I'm not a big fan of what red does for me. I chose Tigerlily, Hibiscus, and Pink Blossom. All very cute names.

They are 100% Natural. Has a waxy, fruity like smell, nothing too noticeable. EXTREMELY MOISTURIZING :) You can check out the ingredients HERE.

How it works:
Care for your lips with beautiful, sheer color. Our new tinted balms give you a hint of color with a soft, sweet flavor and natural ingredients that moisturize and condition your lips.

The packaging was really cute, and that's what made it stand out to me. When I opened it though, the tubes were just brown.
Pink Blossom is a sheer baby pink. Part of the Pinks.
Hibiscus is a darker pink, also sheer.Part of the Pinks.
Tiger Lily is equivalent to a coral with hint of golden. Part of the Nudes.

Pink Blossom, Hibiscus, and Tiger Lily
I'm just wearing Hibiscus on my lips. I love that it gives my lips this pinky natural tint. And they're extremely moisturizing! I think I'm in love!

A DAY IN THE LIFE:SATURDAY♥

A SATURDAY IN MY LIFE :]

HI GUYS! Hope you all had a WONDERFUL Saturday. It's one of my favorite days of the week. I get to RELAX, sleep in, and enjoy life! The family's home, no one's at work. It's great. This particular Saturday my boyfriend RP and I decided we were going to the swap meet. Well, I decided we were going to the swamp meet LOL. We went to KOBEY'S swap meet. We like looking at old junky things because we're both really big fans of shows such as American Pickers and Pawn Stars. Both shows are basically about people buying old things that have awesome history behind them.Anyways, I picked up two pairs of sunglasses at the swap meet, two eye brushes from some random brand and some nail decals. All for under $20. I was pretty proud of myself :) Afterward we went to have lunch at Corvette Diner. It was my first time there! I got a green river limeade soda. SO GOOD! And I ordered the B.L.A.S.T. sandwich.
I also went to Sephora and Walmart and got a few things. This is probably the only downside of having days off because since I'm not working, I'm out spending money. LOL. oh well. You gotta invest in what you LOVE. I went to Sephora and picked up their LASHSTASH mascara deluxe sampler thing, a new NARS DEEP THROAT blush because I was almost out of my other one and I dropped it and it broke. :( I'll do a review on it since it's one of my FAVORITE blushes. I prefer it over Orgasm. I also picked up Sephora's brand waterproof retractable eyeliner. I'm going to test it out to see if I like it.  I'm excited to test out the Mascara samplers!

I went to Walmart and got ...
1.A BIORE heating face wash. This stuff is amazing. It heats up as you apply it!
2.BIORE pore strips. I needed a cleanse of my pores!
3. A CLAY Avocado and oatmeal face mask. I have the cucumber one at home and  wanted to try this one. I'll do a review as soon as I can test it out a few times.
4. Tree HUT body butter in Coconut lime. I couldn't resist, it smelled so good!
5. A much needed LOOFAH! :)
6. A comb for me to blow dry my hair. haha.

Hope you all have a wonderful weekend and don't forget to SPRING FORWARD!
