Happy EARTH DAY!!! 

I have been extremely stressed lately due to work and issues in my family. I've just been so tired everyday to do anything! I just woke up from a nap and I had a little bit of energy to blog a little. It's Easter weekend! My dad is planning a BBQ tomorrow at my house. Feel free to come over if you don't have anything to do! LOL. I'm excited because I'm going to Vegas next weekend for some much needed fun and relaxation! YAY!

JEWELRY DISPLAY

Okay, So I'm in the process of transitioning my stuff into my spare room. I decided to make this jewelry display board since I don't really have a place to put my jewelry. It was spur of the moment idea that literally took me less then five minutes to do using things I already had laying around my house! 

 

 1. An old bulletin/ cord board I had laying around. I have about three... I went through a phase. 

2. Some push pins, any color you want.

3. Construction paper, wrapping paper, anything with a pattern. 

That's IT!

1. Insert the construction paper into the edges of the board. You can fasten them together with push pins. Make sure to cover every portion of the board.

2. Hang push pins and arrange your jewelry!

I like that I'm able to hang my earrings, bracelets, necklaces, and even rings on here. For my larger accessories such as my watches, I just have them in a box. 

You are able to purchase these boards ANYWHERE for about $5 or less!

It's a great and inexpensive way to showcase your jewelry and also a great organization trick.

STORAGE IDEAS!

I realized organization is the key to any sane environment.

I'm currently in the process of moving all my makeup and accessories to my spare room because it's making my bedroom way too cluttered and it's honestly hard to breath. My ever expanding collection of makeup, shoes, and accessories have taken over my life. I need to also stay organized because I seem to have a problem with forgetting about things I own unless they're right in front of my face... like that blush I bought three months ago that I haven't opened that I forgot about. We've all been there.

I've had this Lori Greiner organizer for a while now. It was in storage... Shame on me. I never realized how much stuff it holds until I actually took it out and started putting my makeup in it. Holy cow! These retail for about $24.96 on QVC. I'm sure you can find it on Ebay or Amazon as well. It's the Tabletop spinning cosmetic organizer. 

What's great about this is that its spins, compact, and the top can be a lipstick/ brush holder. It holds over 100 items. I was able to clear out my three compartment draws!

Able to hold lipsticks, glosses, eyeliners, etc. 

OR you can convert the top to a dome if you prefer to not hold lipsticks. 

It holds quite a lot of items!

I also bought this 24-lipstick holder on Ebay. It was about $17. I underestimate my collection sometimes because 24 slots was definitely not near enough. I'll have to get another one. But I like this because its clear, tiered, and very lightweight.

I'm sorry I've been a little crazy the last two days and have been blogging with INSANITY! I think because I've been wanting to blog for so long and I haven't that I've gotten this spurt of energy and I'm exploding with excitement to share with you guys. LOL... If you've read this far and realize I'm crazy, I understand if you no longer want to read my blogs... I'll continue to write in case one day you come back to me. LOL. 

ANYWAYS. I was in DIRE NEED of some sort of new storage for my nail polish, everyday makeup that I grab for, ETC. Basically I needed something cute to put all my crap in! I was at Target today and in the desk supplies area, and I saw these shelve things on clearance. There were a bunch of them left and I was contemplating on how many to get. I figure one for now to see if I liked it or not. 

It matches my mirror I just got at WALMART for $32

Originally $17.99 on clearance for $12.58

I just threw my polishes on top and some randoms on the bottom.

I also found these stackable little storage bins. 

 

 

 

 

 

I love that they slide out and offer enough room to fit my large and small palettes. I'm still deciding what things to put in here. I like how they're see through and look neat on my desk. SO GLAD I found these. I walked into Target just looking for plastic bins for my polishes.
